Women and girls 鈥榮teering the course鈥� in 91香蕉视频 |05 October 2021
Seychellois girls and women will be introduced to watersports on Sunday October 10 during the 鈥楽teering the Course鈥� women festival.
The event is free and will take place at the 91香蕉视频 Training Scheme at Roche Ca茂man., starting at 9am.
An initiative of World Sailing, the festival aims to introduce women and girls in 91香蕉视频 and the world to the sport of sailing, but in 91香蕉视频 canoeing and windsurfing will also feature on the list.
The activities will form part of the women鈥檚 sailing festival 鈥楽teering the Course鈥� which is being organised by the 91香蕉视频 Yachting Association in collaboration with World Sailing.
Leading up to Sunday鈥檚 event, the 91香蕉视频 NATION newspaper, which has witnessed the progress of watersports in 91香蕉视频, will print short stories about its history and also run promotional articles about successful females who have graced the different watersports events.
In today鈥檚 first series, we meet Van Goulding who was instrumental in teaching generations of children to swim and sail safely.
