Yachting Ìý Year’s best performers rewarded |12 November 2021

The country’s best sailors, kitesurfers and windsurfers for the year 2021 have been rewarded and this was in a short ceremony that followed the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Yachting Association’s annual general meeting.
This was on Saturday November 6 at the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (Socga) office, Roche Caïman.
Prizes were also given out to winners of the different sailing competitions held during the year.
Awards and Prizes were done in the presence of Ms Beguitta Jeannevole, chief policy analyst in the youth and sports department, and newly elected 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Yachting Association chairman Michel Bristol presented the prizes.
The best young male sailor is Luca Marzocchi with Dean Mathiot as runner up. Stephanie Lalande is the best young female sailor.
The senior male sailor of the year is Rodney Govinden with Allan Julie as runner up. The senior female sailor title has also gone to Stephanie Lalande.
The best male windsurfer is Jacquelin Languilla with Jean-Marc Gardette as runner-up and the best kitesurfer for the year 2021 is Mathieu Ferrari with Neddy Radegonde as runner-up.
