The 91香蕉视频 women鈥檚 football team have lost their first match to host country Maldives on a 1-0 score on Tuesday in the Women鈥檚 Three-Nations Friendly tourney in the Maldives.
Mariyam Noora pounced on a defensive mistake by Florence Marie in the 10th minute to beat 91香蕉视频 goalkeeper Mandy Gabriel to give the Daughters of the Waves the lead which they defended well to run out as the winners at the National Football Stadium.
As 91香蕉视频 pushed forward in search of an equaliser, striker Natacha Bibi flashed a strong shot across the face of goal in the first period before her second half effort was blocked by the Maldives goalkeeper and captain Leeza who made a double save to keep a clean sheet.
The 91香蕉视频 team, who rode their luck as the home side saw a lob crash against the bar, will meet the Daughters of the Waves again tomorrow.
Coached by Angeline Chua, the 91香蕉视频 team鈥檚 third match is against Saudi Arabia women鈥檚 national team on February 20.
