Second gold medal for Iven Moï²õ±ð
After his exploit in the 10,000m race where he won a gold medal following his first place finish in 30 minutes 48 seconds, bettering his old 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ record of 31 minutes 40 seconds, long distance runner Iven Moï²õ±ð won his second gold medal, this time in the 5,000m, on Saturday.
A lieutenant in the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Defence Forces’ elite unit, Moï²õ±ð clocked 15 minutes 02.51 seconds (15:02.51).
Also on Saturday, 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ won two bronze medals in track and field, precisely from handisports athletes Jerry Thérésine in 1500m wheelchair, and Samuel Morel in long jump.
