Telecommunications company Airtel 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ has once again renewed and reinforced its commitment toward 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’ football by sponsoring the annual Airtel Cup football tournament which will kick off at the end of November.
Yesterday after at its headquarters at Providence, the company’s commercial manager Heritiana Randrianarison presented a cheque worth R300,000 to 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Football Federation (SFF) executive committee member Dolor Ernesta, in the presence of secretary general Georges Bibi and Airtel 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ staff.
Mr Randrianarison said the company remains committed and will always help to build a platform to identify talents and take 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’ football to the next level.
He added that this year’s competition, the 16th, is proof that Airtel has been active over the past 15 years and that the partnership will keep growing.
On behalf of the SFF, Mr Ernesta, other than thanking Airtel, noted that helping the youth is not only the responsibility of the government, but also that of the private sector.
A responsibility which, he said, Airtel 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ has been fulfilling for the past 16 years.
