Stephanie Duval graduates with executive Masters in sport organisation management
Secretary of the 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Women and Sports Association, and advocate for women’s leadership in sports, Stephanie Duval recently graduated with executive Masters in Sport Organisation Management
The executive master’s programme, or Memos, is designed for professionals working in sports, and is offered in three versions based on the teaching languages which are English, French, and Spanish.
She received her credentials from president of the 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Olympic and Commonwealth Games e modules covered included strategic management and governance, financial management, leadership and human resource management, Olympic sport organisation marketing, project and event management, along with the final Memos research project.
Speaking to Sports NATION, Miss Duval noted that her thesis – Developing a National Strategy to Recognise the Values of Physical Activities and Sports (PAS) for the Youth in 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ – was based on a report produced by the French Embassy in 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ, Alliance ¹ó°ù²¹²Ôç²¹¾±²õe and the sports ministry in 2023.
She said the report diagnosed 10 major challenges within 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµâ€™ sports ecosystem, and this formed the foundation of her research.
