No biosecurity agreement yet for Assomption project

No biosecurity agreement has been signed yet in relation to hotel development project on Assomption Island, said Vice- President Ahmed Afif.
He made the comment in the National Assembly yesterday morning when answering a Private Notice Question from the leader of the opposition, Sebastien Pillay, who wanted to know if any biosecurity agreement has been signed or was being considered between the government, represented by the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Islands Foundation (SIF), and the Qatari-based developer of the Assomption project, the Assets Real Estate Development Company.
