Team 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ let slipped a two-goal lead to lose their second group 3-4 to Guatemala at the Paradise Arena in the ongoing Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup 2025.
In the group A match, 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ took an early lead though Brandon Labrosse, before Remy De Ketelare double the lead to put the Paradise Boys 2-0 up.
Miguel Gonsalez then pulled one back for Guatemala (2-1), only for Terrence Amade to restore 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’ two-goal lead (3-1).
Unfortunately for 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, Gonsalez scored three more goals to give Guatemala a 4-3 victory, killing all 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’ hope of progression in the competition, after losing their opening match to Belarus on Thursday.
91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’ next match will be on Monday against Japan. Belarus are presently group leaders following two victories in as many matches played, followed by Japan who have so far registered a win and loss, similar to Guatemala who are third in the group, leaving hosts 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ at the bottom following two defeats.
