The United Nations Country Team annual retreat for Mauritius and 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ officially commenced yesterday morning at the Savoy 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Resort and Spa.
The high-level event brings together representatives from 25 UN agencies, alongside government ministers, development partners, civil society and the private sector, under the theme: ‘Repositioning UNCT for Accelerating Economic and Climate Resilience for All in Mauritius and 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’.
The retreat comes at a critical juncture as both island nations enter new development phases. 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ is in its second year of implementing its five-year National Development Strategy (2024–2028), while Mauritius has recently launched its 2025–2029 Government Programme titled ‘A Bridge to the Future’.
