With just days to go before 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ hosts the 13th Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l’Océan Indien (CJSOI) Games, President Wavel Ramkalawan yesterday chaired a high-level preparatory meeting to review the country's readiness to host the prestigious regional event, while in the afternoon, members of the Media, Youth, Sports and Culture Committee within the National Assembly visited the different venues to see ongoing progress.
Scheduled to take place between August 1-10, the Games – established in 1994 – bring together athletes aged 14 to 17 from seven island nations in a celebration of sport, culture, and youth empowerment.
