Mariette Mckelvey and Georges Camille win lifetime achievement award
ÌýMariette Mckelvey and Georges Camille on Saturday received the Lifetime Achievement Award during the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Arts Awards 2025, which took place at the International Conference Centre 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ.
The award honours two individuals – a female and a male – who have dedicated their life to preserving and developing 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’ arts.
The award ceremony, hosted by the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ National Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts, is aimed at honouring the excellence, resilience and boundless creativity of artists in an array of categories.
Georges Camille was also the recipient of Best Award for Arts and Entrepreneur.
Speaking to 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ NATION, Mr Camille expressed both surprise and joy for receiving not one but two awards.
