Incumbent President Wavel Ramkalawan is once again contesting the upcoming election, alongside running mate Ahmed Afif, for the Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS) political party. Mr Ramkalawan, an Anglican priest, served as a member of the National Assembly for a number of years, before being elected into power in 2020.
