BHC uses Commonwealth Games relay to highlight threat of marine pollution

The Cap Ternay Marine Park was the latest stop on the round-the-world journey of the King’s Baton Relay, where the British High Commission highlighted the threat of plastic pollution to 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’ unique marine environment.
Travelling to each of the 74 Commonwealth nations and territories ahead of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland in July 2026, the King’s Baton Relay is in 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ until October 24. The theme for the relay is centred around cultural celebration and marine conservation, and staff from the British High Commission teamed up with the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Parks and Gardens Authorities (SPGA), to take the baton to the stunning Cap Ternay Marine Park, to highlight the beauty of 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’ environment and the harm posed by marine plastic pollution.
