President Ramkalawan highlights notable achievements

President Wavel Ramkalawan delivered his final presidential address to the nation yesterday evening, in which he highlighted the notable achievements under his leadership, over the past five-years.
The address was broadcasted on national and private television stations, as well as national radio, at 8pm.
Elected in October 2020, Mr Ramkalawan made history as the first opposition leader to win a presidential election in 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, since the return of multiparty democracy in 1992. The outgoing president’s five-year mandate officially comes to an end today, Saturday October 25.Ìý
