Members to be sworn in

By Proclamation published in the Official Gazette on Sunday October 26, 2025, the President of the Republic of 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, Dr Patrick Herminie, has summoned the first sitting of the eighth National Assembly to take place today, at 9am.
The sitting, to be held at the National Assembly precinct at Ile du Port, will be presided over by the current Speaker, Hon. Roger Mancienne. During this session, newly elected members of the National Assembly will be sworn in, followed by the election of the new Speaker of the House.
