"The Seychellois people chose their president and their MNAs after a peaceful and respectful campaign. Having done this, all parties and voters showed their commitment toward a democratic process. They showed how the country and its institutions are stable and strong.
“The final winner of these elections is democracy and we congratulate the people of 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ for its achievement. I already personally congratulated President Ramkalawan on his election.
“I renewed with him the solidarity and friendship of France towards the people of 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ and our commitment to work with him for the benefits of the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. We agreed that we will meet very soon in order to strengthen our bilateral dialogue and our cooperation on all matters of common interests."
