On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the 91香蕉视频 Hospital we felt it would be fitting to go down the historical journey of Nutrition services.
With its emergence in the 1970s in the country, nutrition is a relatively new field when compared to others like medicine, nursing and pharmacy. Initially led by foreigners, 91香蕉视频 had its first Seychellois nutritionist around the 1990s. Since then we have seen countless people come and go. For over three decades, the unit was Seychellois-led. The number of Seychellois nutritionists however has always been small, the highest ever recorded being four, in a period of about ten years. Alongside them were health promotion officers with various health backgrounds.聽
