Family, friends and former media colleagues of Lucie Françoise convened at the St Roch’s Church in Bel Ombre yesterday afternoon to bid her farewell following her passing last week.
Ms Françoise who had dedicated over four decades of her life to 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’ media, died on April 14. ÌýThe news shocked the media world, and some of her former colleagues took to social media to express their sadness and share fond memories of her. Ìý
She is described as a friendly, helpful and calm yet witty person with an amazing laugh. Ìý
Ms Françoise was among the first to join the Association of Media Practitioners (Amps) when it was founded in 2014 and following her passing, the association, with most its members being former colleagues of Ms Françoise, sent a heartfelt message of condolences.
