91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ celebrates Diwali

Diwali, the festival of lights celebrated by millions of people across the world, was also marked in 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ on Saturday night at the Roche Caiman swimming pool, running a 90-minute programme.
The event organised by the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Hindu Council in collaboration with this year’s main co-sponsor, the Indian Association 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, was graced by the presence of incoming First Lady Veronique Herminie, Minister for Land and Housing, Billy Rangasamy, members of the diplomatic corps and of the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Interfaith Council (Sifco).
