Dr Herminie to be inaugurated into office on Sunday

President-elect Dr Patrick Herminie will officially be inaugurated into office on Sunday October 26, 2025.
As previously announced by Dr Herminie, the inauguration ceremony, which will be open to the general public, is scheduled to take place at 5.30pm, at the Stad Linite, Roche Caïman.
Dr Herminie defeated incumbent President Wavel Ramkalawan of the Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS) political party during the presidential runoff, held on October 9, 10 and 11. He will serve as 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’ sixth President, for the next five years.
