The National Assembly of 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ reconvenes today for its second session, to review and deliberate on the proposed nominations for the country’s cabinet of ministers.
The proposed list of 13 nominees was submitted to the National Assembly for approval on October 28, 2025, by President Patrick Herminie. The approval of the nominees as ministers will come in the form of 13 motions to be put forward by the leader of government business in the National Assembly, Hon. Sylvanne Lemiel. The motions for approval are in accordance with Articles 63(1) and 69(2) of the Constitution.
