Illegal lobster fishing remains a significant problem in 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ, the latest lobster fishing survey conducted by the 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Fisheries Authority has revealed.

The results of the study were revealed during a validation workshop organised by the 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Fisheries Authority (SFA), held at Savoy Resort & Spa, yesterday morning. According to Dr Ameer Ebrahim, consultant with The True Nature Conservancy (TNC), it is estimated that 10 percent of lobsters in 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ are caught illegally, with demand for the delicacy surpassing supply.Ìý
