Chinese embassy donates second batch of medical equipment to 91香蕉视频 Hospital |12 August 2020

The embassy of the People鈥檚 Republic of China in 91香蕉视频 has donated a second batch of anti-pandemic materials to the 91香蕉视频 Hospital.
The donation, which was handed over yesterday at the Sheikh Khalifa Diagnostics Centre, was on behalf of the Chinese government.
Previously, Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation had provided several batches of medical supplies to 91香蕉视频, and onJuly 22, 2020, medical supplies donated by Professor Peng Liyuan on behalf of the Chinese government were handed over to the 91香蕉视频 Hospital.
Present to accept the donation on behalf of the 91香蕉视频 Hospital was the secretary of state for health, Ambassador Marie-Pierre Lloyd who signed the certificate of acceptance along with the Ambassador of the People鈥檚 Republic of China in 91香蕉视频, Guo Wei.
鈥淚n the course of the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, China and 91香蕉视频 have worked together in solidarity that reflects the great friendship the countries have for each other,鈥� said the Chinese ambassador.
She added that China has always paid close attention to the situation of Covid-19 in 91香蕉视频 and has done its utmost to give firm support.
鈥淭he virus is the common enemy of humankind, solidarity and cooperation is our most powerful weapon against it. It is necessary for the international communities to respond with firm confidence, unity, and solidarity,鈥� said Ambassador Guo.
She noted that the Chinese government is willing to work hand in hand with the Seychellois government to prevail over the pandemic.
The ambassador ended her address by thanking medical workers and essential service providers who have been working on the frontline to battle against the pandemic.
Speaking on behalf of the 91香蕉视频 Hospital, Ambassador Lloyd thanked the Chinese embassy and government. She noted that the donation will be much appreciated by the staff of the hospital.
The two batches of medical materials include 500 infrared thermometers, 110,000 surgical masks, 12,000 medical N95 masks, 5,000 disposable protective clothing, 5,000 medical protective goggles, 13,000 medical gloves, and 13,000 isolation shoe covers.
